I

I'd like to double down on the significance of expressing gratitude. In a world of AI and unread emails, they collect dust in their inbox.

We all have so much to be thankful for, especially now that we are on the other side of one of the hardest couple years (as a society) we have faced.

With our new at home work environment, it is often hard for co-workers to sense their value without being face to face where someone can see facial expressions or read body language. It has created a larger group of disconnected people within a society that desires connection.

Express gratitude to all the people who help you day in and day out without expecting anything in return. In real estate, things move fast most of the time. Unfortunately, gratitude gets left in the dust as we move on to the next customer. Make it a point to verbally say thank you for a job well done.

That is why it's important for all real estate agents to take 15 minutes out of their day and do something for a few of their co-workers, past clients, and sphere that makes their job easier. Before you know it, you have reached out to hundreds of people with gratitude.

Write them an email, or better yet, write them a handwritten letter. Show them you can access information tech that no one else has in a way that showcases your efforts. Additionally, showing appreciation daily for referrals and testimonials can go a long way in building trust and loyalty in your tribe.

Go on their LinkedIn and leave them a killer recommendation. Send them a daily affirmation and quick notes of appreciation for being a part of your tribe.

Maybe, if you really want to make their day, send them a Starbucks or Amazon gift card. It's about the time you took to acknowledge their journey. Learn to build your own community that will help them remember that you took time to acknowlegde them and that you are grateful for them.

The strength of our relationships is directly correlated to the strength of your real estate business.

Build your own equity as a real estate agent that will help you access a world of giving yourself a notch of revaluation as a real estate agent. Give your consumers new choices by going that extra mile day in and day out with gratitude in mind.

Don't assume people know you care; show them you care. Recenter, refocus and ultimately, you will see the law of returns play out itself.

I'm going to handwrite 3 letters to 3 people that really make my job easier within my team or sphere. I'm going to scan them and send it to them (because I don't know their mailing address), but I think it's going to put a smile on their face.

Put a smile on someone's face.
